"We recently had a fire in our Mill Creek home that damaged the crown molding and ceiling area. I called Scott and was he was able to give me a proposal to paint and repair the damaged area. I live out of town and was able to coordinate all this with him via phone and email. His crew showed up on time and did a great job. You can't tell that wall was ever damaged. They even cleaned the soot off the bricks. He is a high-quality painter and his prices reflect that, but the work is outstanding."

"Like most people, we are now spending an ENORMOUS amount of time at home. While we are adjusting to the new normal, one of the things we're grateful for is the job you all did on our remodel. We spend a lot of time at the kitchen island.. cooking, eating, talking and watching the mounted TV. We are also hanging out in the living room in front of he fireplace (one of Truman's favorite spots). The downstairs bedroom has become a family room / workout area since we can't go to the gym! And, with four of us at home all the time, the pantry and mudroom have become important storage and staging areas for food, drinks and other supplies. "We had a split-level home and needed the lower level remodeled. After interacting with 3 construction groups, Tenhulzen was at the top of our list after meeting with Scott, the owner. The project started well, there were a few setbacks but options of change orders were enumerated for homeowners to decide. Ken, the Operations Manager did a great job in overseeing the project timeline, permits and even our feedback on design. Prompt to reply if there will be questions during the progress of our project. The project manager, Rodney, worked with us throughout the scope of work - down to the little details and other unexpected surprises. Rodney takes pride of his work, is a master carpenter, knowledgeable about all aspects of construction, and detail-oriented, as is the owner of the company, Scott, and all the other employees and the trade subs. Our German shepherd is always happy to see Rodney because he thinks it's playtime and would take care of his "needs" when we are out. Scott ensures his employees are happy, safe and this shows in their work.
For the most, we were able to keep cost in scope and Tenhulzen was also upfront about additional necessary cost and worked with us to do a remodel we could afford, even as we added on more pieces. They are not cheap, but you will get an exceptional quality of work. We will certainly use Tenhulzen for further work, and highly recommend them.

"Scott and his company are first class and come with our highest recommendation. Our home had water damage that required repairs to the walls and hardwood floor. It also involved painting, refinishing the whole floor to match the repair area and new floor molding. It was very apparent during the onsite quote that Tenhulzen was in a different league. We received an honest assessment for the scope of repairs and the discussions were so friendly. We felt immediately at ease and so comfortable in putting our trust with Scott.
The repair required us to temporarily leave the house. Tenhulzen’ team worked a partial weekend and finished the job ahead of schedule. When we returned home, our house looked so beautiful (even better than before!) and we were very pleased. Tenhulzen does excellent work and provides great customer service. The quality of work and the finished product was top notch, and they were very professional throughout the whole process"

Eric was our site manager and did a lot of the work. He was fantastic! Always arrived when he said he would, and he kept us in the loop every step of the way. Overall, I was so impressed with the Tenhulzen business model. Communication was easy, and they used an app that kept us informed and logged all of the work that happened every day.
